CAMVATE Director's Monitor Cage Kit with Dual Handgrips & Neck Strap

i've only been using this cage with my Atomos Ninja Inferno for a few months now on a handful of jobs. So far its been great, with one exception. The v-mount plate isn't built well. I had a hard time getting my battery in and seated properly...I own 2 other v-mount plates and i have a 2-bay charger...none of them are as difficult to use as the one that came with the cage...So i changed it. Not a difficult operation, though i did lose the extra 12v and 7.2v power ports as my other plates don't have those. So far, i haven't needed them though...2 d-tap and one usb is fine for my purposes. I repurposed the v-mount plate for my GH5s rig...time will tell how long it holds up. As to the previous reviewer who was missing parts...thats a bummer, but i got everything in my package. For the price, I would highly recommend this cage...a used v-mount plate can be found for .50 if the one that comes with it isn't good ( or worse, is missing entirely ).

I finally received my cage and it was missing a few parts. The V-lock Power Supply Splitter, the Hex Spanner, and Screwdriver. Truthfully, I could care less about the Hex Spanner and Screwdriver but the main reason I chose this cage was because it included the V-lock battery mount. The build quality seems great. I gave it three stars just because of the missing parts.
