Postium Korea OBM-R210Q Overview

Monitor your field production from a mobile truck with the OBM-R210Q 21.5" Quad-Split Rack Mountable 3G-SDI LCD Monitor from Postium Korea. The 7 RU rack-mountable monitor features a narrow bezel, making it ideal for OB van configurations, and it offers 1920 x 1080 display resolution with a 178° viewing angle, 1500 cd/m² brightness, and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. It features four 3G-SDI inputs and four 3G-SDI outputs. An HDMI 2.0 input provides an additional option for bringing in video with embedded audio, and a 3.5mm line input offers analog stereo connectivity. A 3.5mm analog stereo output allows you to monitor sound via optional headphones. The monitor comes with its own power cord.

Closed Captioning Support

Closed captioning decoding and display for CEA-708 (HD-SDI closed captioning standard) and CEA-608 (SD-SDI closed captioning standard) are supported via the SDI input.

High Dynamic Range

High Dynamic Range (HDR) applies a High Dynamic Range display gamma curve to HDR content with support for PQ EOTF (SMPTE ST 2084), Hybrid Log Gamma, and S-Log3. The HDR function allows you to view both highlights and shadow details within scenes simultaneously, thus resulting in more natural and realistic reproduction.

Focus Assist and False Color

Focus Assist controls the aperture level of a video signal and displays images on screen with sharpened edges to help camera focus operation.

False Color indicates the luma (Y) level of the input image. If a certain Y level is set, the pixels with the designated Y level are displayed with a zebra pattern or a color pattern. There are multiple display modes: zebra, variable, ARRI, and comparison.

HDR Waveform Monitor and Vectorscope Display

HDR Waveform Monitor and Vectorscope Display modes enable users to monitor sources using the internal waveform and vectorscope individually or simultaneously. The position of the waveform and vectorscope can be moved between top left, top right, bottom right, and bottom left.

Built-In Camera Log to Linear Conversion LUTs

The monitor has built-in Camera Log to Linear Conversion LUTs from various camera manufacturers, including Log-C, C-Log, S-Log2, S-Log3, J-Log1, and more. Plus, custom 3D LUTs can be imported for accurate and consistent color matching between different displays and for DIT previews of customized 'looks' that have been created by third party color-grading applications. The LUT-converted content can then be output to downstream devices/monitors via the SDI loop out.

In-Monitor Display

In-Monitor Display (IMD) allows image source names and tally information to be displayed on the screen with an external remote function via Ethernet. TSL system protocol is supported. The color of the source name and tally color is selectable among white, red, green, blue, yellow, cyan, and magenta.

Frame Markers and Mattes

Various frame markers and mattes are available, including aspect, area, and center markers. In addition, the detailed display settings of each marker are allowed. For example, the color, brightness, horizontal/vertical position, and thickness of aspect markers can all be adjusted.

Remote Control via Ethernet

Connect via Ethernet and control the monitor remotely on the network. The System Date Copy Function allows users to save the monitor configuration and adjustment settings and load them to other monitors. This is useful for multiple monitor systems, allowing the transfer of one monitor's setup and adjustment data to another or many.
