While you can position the light to the subject s left or right, it s while shooting through the fixture s 14" diameter central opening with your camera or smartphone attached to the included mounts, that the real magic happens. The light has a color temperature that s variable from 3200 to 5600K to blend in seamlessly with your room light or just for creative effects. The light s high CRI of 96 is an indicator of advanced accuracy in color rendering. The ring light can be used worldwide via the included 100-240 VAC adapter, but it also runs on two separately purchased NP-F batteries for situations where AC power is unavailable.
