Sunpak LED-330 Video Light with Barndoors

I really like this unit because of its compact size, lightweight and ease of use. Plus the light output is easily adjustable. What's not to enjoy!

I was able to purchase this light on sale and for the price I paid, I feel like I almost stole it. Overall it is a great light. It is a complete solution w/o the color gels. I should have purchased a 2nd unit, maybe a third one, especially at's DealZone price. Would I have paid the full price??? Maybe. I didn't need the light and it was an impulse purchase but I am happy I did.

The Sunpak LED-330 Video Light with Barndoors is a mediocre toy that does not render light accurately, it is flimsy and heavy and very limited in function and consumes the battery charge too fast. Furthermore the Mafia raised its price to double since last week that listed for €59.95 on a special for €29.99 to the new price of €59.95, regular price €99.95. This light considering its shortcomings should not be selling for over €15.00.

The first unit I received had a row of LEDS that were intermittent., as usual, sent me a new unit. I have been unable to test it yet.

I bought this, actually 4 of Sunpak LED-330 Video Lights when they were on sale. Great price, great little light, and made all its faults forgivable, if any. The bad: The barndoors are too loose, the top blade keeps folding down on my first shoot when I mounted it on top of my SmallRig Cage. Due to the size of the shallow screw socket, and missing grids to add some friction with the undersized hinge holding barndoor blade there is not much room for you to tighten it further. I removed all barndoors immediately when I got home. Filter almost fell off as well, but a small piece masking take has resolved the issue permanently. The Good: The Price! There is no way you can buy this at the price I paid for anywhere else except my beloved. Cold shoe adapter and inch screw mount made it mountable on any accessories. I love this as it comes with a 12 volts DC input, and I happen to have a few 12 volts Li-Ion battery packs. Keep doing business with. I have been a customer for over 30 years and I love this company. 100% Pain Free!

I bought this light for a fill light and found myself using it with a gel for a pop of color in studio portraits and boudoir pics. The barn doors make it easy to direct the light where I need it and I can adjust the brightness to what I need. The color temperature adjustment on the light was not enough for my needs so I cut some gels and placed them over the light for a better color adjustment. I found this light very useful.

Picked this up in the DealZone and impressed by the bang for the buck. It's bright (for its size) has variable color temperature and lots of battery power. And barn doors!
