Record HDMI video to a USB flash drive, an external drive, or to your computer with this Video Capture and Recorder from MuxLab. The capture device allows you to input up to 1080p60 video via HDMI and then output up to 1080p30 video to your computer or USB drive over a USB Type-A interface. The video signal from an HDMI camera, game system, or other source can be recorded on your Windows, Mac, or Linux computer while also monitoring it via the HDMI loop output on a separate display. It also features a 3.5mm microphone input to add audio to your recordings, as well as a headphone output jack to monitor the input audio.
The analog mic input signal is automatically mixed with the HDMI embedded audio into AAC format, and the video records in MP4 format onto an external drive. The maximum capacity for external USB recording media is 64GB for a USB flash drive and 2TB for an external hard drive. The unit is powered via the included power supply.
