Marshall Electronics CV348 Overview

The from Marshall Electronics is designed with professionals in mind, and it delivers crisp video to fit the individual needs of productions large and small. The camera is built around a next-generation Sony 1/2.8" 2.2MP CMOS sensor capable of recording images at up to 108060 in low-light situations with rich color accuracy via simultaneous 3G-SDI and HDMI output. Marshall`s C/CS interchangeable lens system offers a variety of focal lengths for both prime and varifocal options (a lens is not included).

Adapting to different environments and their requirements is easy with the camera`s highly customizable settings, which may be adjusted with an optional Marshall controller, Camera Control software, or another third-party system using VISCA over RS-485. It also supports genlock, 12V barrel power, and stereo audio on the included breakout cable.

Sony 1/2.8" Image Sensor

The next-generation Sony sensors provide clear HD images with rich accurate 10-bit (4:2:2) color, even in low light (0.01 lux), and the ability to switch to night mode (0.005 lux) where IR wavelengths can be captured in complete darkness.

Expanded Remote Adjust and Match

Marshall has expanded remote adjust and match refinement features on these new Sony sensor models with Color Matrix and more refinement steps of exposure, plus a suite of VISCA-over-RS-485 commands. Remote adjust and match the CV348 from a Marshall Touchscreen RCP, free downloadable Camera Control software, or third-party control decks like Cyanview, Skaarhoj, and more.

The durable CV348 body is chiseled from one block of aluminum with rear panel connector protection. CV348 operates with exceptional low-light sensitivity, ensuring a clear picture in variable and challenging lighting conditions, including live events, eSports, indoor or outdoor sporting events, house-of-worship productions, and other dynamic lighting environments.
