JVC Km-IP8 vMix Studio Overview

Add central PTZ control and professional switching to your broadcast studio with the JVC vMix Studio Switcher & Control Surface Kit put together. The kit includes the KM-IP8 vMix Studio Switcher and the Desktop vMix Studio Switcher Control Surface from JVC.

The Studio Switcher runs vMix switching software and provides IP streaming, NDI inputs, and DisplayPort outputs with internal SSDs for recording, PTZ control, and keying. The control surface features backlit control buttons, a fader, joystick, and it controls program and preview output.

JVC KM-IP8 vMix Studio Switcher

The KM-IP8 vMix Studio Switcher from JVC is a 2 RU rackmount studio switcher with eight IP inputs via NDI and support for SRT, RTSP, RTMP/VLC, and UDP. Four downstream keyers provide a generous array of image control options, while 10 overlays, PTZ control, web remote, and chroma key support round out some of the stand-out features on this versatile switcher, which also offers ISO recording and instant replay of all inputs, with an internal 500GB SSD for recording at up to 1080p60 and one 500GB SSD dedicated to the operating system.

There are four DisplayPort outputs for GUI, PVW/PGM, Multiview, and Aux as well as network video outputs with support for NDI, SRT, RTMP/S, H.264, and H.265. Other outputs include one 3G-SDI and one HDMI with embedded audio. Audio is also embedded on all the other inputs and outputs, and a 3.5mm line in/microphone connector provides a solution for integrating analog audio into your program. The KM-IP8 comes with its own standard keyboard and mouse.

JVC Desktop vMix Studio Switcher Control Surface

Add tactile controls with traditional switching functions to your production gear with this Desktop vMix Studio Switcher Control Surface from JVC. The versatile unit works with the KM-IP8 studio computer and the vMix GO or any system running vMix software. It features a low-profile transition fader with T-bar, 12-channel PGM and PVW switching preview with four groups of 12 downstream key settings, and PTZ camera preset positions with a conveniently placed joystick controller for camera panning and zoom controls.
