The cover is designed to work with a standard lens and matte box and it fits snuggly, creating a warm pocket of air around the camera. Two access ports near the lens and another for the EVF are finished with cotton cuffs to help keep cold air out and the warm air inside, maintaining a stable temperature while you operate the camera. Hook-and-loop strips line the interior, to hold optional Porta Brace Polar Heat Packs fast to distribute heat and prevent the packs from shifting inside the cover. Hook-and-loop fasteners provide quick access and closure to the camera s controls, and multiple zippers allow for rapid camera installation and removal. The cover allows not only for handheld use but also for mounting the camera on a tripod. A zipper snugs the cover around the tripod plate, helping to keep warm air inside the cover.
