SHAPE Camera Bag with Removable Pouches

There are great things about this bag but 2 stars out of 5 right now. Due to my past experience with my new Shape Bag, their team MUST change the construction of the side-wall inserts protecting my multi-thousand dollar camera. Mine broke with not too much bending trying to re-adjust it in in the bag. I cut the insert out and discovered cheap hard cardboard! How crazy is that for the cost and expectation of quality for that price? On further testing, it snaps easily and is brittle. If if gets wet from rain, then what? A mold fest? I mean c'mon Shape what are you thinking?! Great company but some products need your attention. This is not acceptable. Why can't you put a flexible but strong piece of plastic in there? No more breakage or other problems. Not long enough! I can only get a FX3 with a lens, matte box and brick battery attached to the rig. No way with an FX6 or any built out camera you just want to pull out ready to go. Shape should redesign it or offer a new model that is at least 24 inches. And that way you can also get a fully dressed FX6 in with matte box, lens, back rails/brick battery and perhaps get an external recorder in it as well and an additional lens or two as well. It also needs to be an inch or two higher to accommodate a shot gun mic with mount without having to take it off the camera and make more room to tuck in an EVF. Closing the bag is a pain as the zipper gets stuck in the back corners when fully opened and you have struggle to get the zippers in a position to pull the top closed. Molle System is useless as the two snaps constantly come undone risking you losing whatever bag accessory is attached on the move. This needs to be WAY more secure. Why not add Velcro to be sure it does not come off? Two little straps and dinky snaps! Who thought of this? Magnetic lid cover needs to be wider and buy another inch with more magnets. Dust and moisture get easy access into this bag through the cover flap. Do we really want a camera bag with this weakness in more hostile environments shooting? Shape, at this price, should be rain cover that stretches tightly over the bag but allows you to carry the bag by the straps and handle. There should also waterproof material/hard plastic on the bottom of the bag to keep ground moisture from being absorbed by the bag while keeping it off wet ground, something that will allow any water to pass under the bag in either direction. It needs another piece of velcro strip on top of the bag between the Shape Logo and Shape Team to allow you to place lens caps or more real estate to place an accessory bag (which could contain a rain cover) I would not recommend this bag in its current config though there are nice details.
