SKB iSeries Case for Blackmagic URSA Broadcast Camera

This is a very good, durable and stable case, the only detail about it - I wish it had more recess for small cables and other gear.

Having owned many hard cases (mostly Pelican), I think this one is probably the best sized and weight ratio for my camera rigs of any case I have ever owned. Great job SKB and ThinkTank! It allows me to put both a fully rigged A camera (Sony FX6), and if need be a small Sony A series B camera, in one manageable well thought out protected space. Thus cutting down on the cases that have to be handled for the too often one man band scenarios. There is plenty of room for most other accessories, including a laptop in the Lid Organizer. The light gray interior truly does make it easier to find gear in low light. I really like the additional included foam pads. They allow me to use the vertical space in the case to stack, and still protect, my gear that is not attached to the Camera rig(s). The red button release for the trolley handle makes is immediately obvious how to release the handle from it's storage position, nice touch. I just recently had a part time assistant that was wheeling one of my Pelican cases, I noticed he struggled to find the release handle for the trolley that was black on black tucked up under the handle itself. I had to show him how to release the handle. That won't happen on this case. I also like that there is just 2 two trigger latches, and the way the trigger releases makes it secure and quick to open the case. Other cases of this sized often have more, and can be hard to open (they don't have trigger releases). I really have nothing bad to say about this case. You might be able to find a cheaper case in this size range, but I don't believe you can find a better, more well thought out hard case on the market. I also like that it is Mfg in the USA. For me, that means something. There is a high probability that I will be purchasing more of the SKB iSeries cases in the future. So Yes, I highly recommend this case.

i have an ursa g2 with an ssd recorder and v lock plate attatched. the big space where the camera goes is huge. i have to add a battery on the back just to keep the camera from moving around. the side squares are very deep as well. it fits the handle, 3 ssds, 702 bright and a cable bag. definitely recommend. solid case.

This case was a great addition to my SKB iSeries family. I use the smaller case for my C200. The C500 II fits great even with the V mount and V mount Batt as well as the Canon 30-105 cine lens. Not much room for anything else in this setup but it using a smaller lens and just the canon batts I can put a ton of extras in there. Also, this case is great if you are wanting to keep the ton handle connected at all times.
