De-embed HDMI audio, down-convert, and distribute an HDMI video source to two displays using this 1x2 4K HDMI Distribution Amplifier with Audio De-Embedding/Down Conversion from Key Digital. It features one HDMI input and two HDMI outputs that support all HD, SD, and VESA signals up to DCI/UHD 4K30 12-bit 4:4:4 or DCI/UHD 4K60 8-bit 4:4:4 at 18 Gb/s bandwidth. It also features 3.5mm analog stereo and optical audio outputs for de-embedding audio from the HDMI stream to alternate audio destinations. It can also down-convert output from 4K to 1080p based on EDID identification.
The unit features a buffer system that manages HDCP 2.2, EDID management, TDMS reclocking, signal regeneration, and CEC disconnect. Supported color profiles include HDR10 high dynamic range, as well as audio profiles which include compressed, lossless Dolby TrueHD, Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio, and Atmos. Input and output activity status is shown on the LEDs beside the ports and the front of the unit. The unit is powered using the included 5V, 2A KD-PS5V2ASC power supply.
