Atlona HDR-SW-52ED Overview

Quickly switch from one of five HDMI inputs to a single display with the 5x2 4K HDR HDMI/HDBaseT Matrix Switcher with Extended Distance from Atlona. Having display switching plus digital and analog audio de-embedding available makes the AT-UHD-SW-51 usable in A/V integration as well as presentation situations. Resolutions up to DCI 4K are supported, and multichannel audio can be passed through or sent out via the stereo analog terminal or S/PDIF. The HDBaseT port provides the ability to extend the HDMI signal up to 330 using an optional HDR-EX-100CEA-RX receiver.

The HDMI output has switchable HDCP 2.2 compliance and EDID management for compatibility with a variety of content sources and displays. This unit can be configured and controlled via IP, IR remote control, or RS-232 serial connection. A power adapter is included, and you can power an optional receiver using PoE over an HDBaseT connection.

Applications

• Conference rooms and meeting rooms: the HDR-SW-52ED is compact and ideal for under-table mounting. It conveniently provides automatic switching for simplified user operation, especially when laptops are brought into the system
• This matrix switcher can feed separate content into the main presentation display and an auxiliary display
• The HDR-SW-52ED can be installed in a lectern to serve a confidence monitor, plus the primary display in a remote location
• Localized video source switching: this switcher can be used to feed into a larger, multi-zone AV distribution platform, such as the Atlona OmniStream AV over IP system

• Allows non-protected material from computers to pass to non-compliant displays, streaming devices, and teleconference systems protected content is not transmitted
• Displays a green splash screen as visual confirmation that protected content is being blocked from transmission to a non-compliant display

Integrated HDBaseT Link Testing and Status Monitoring
