Blustream PLA88CS Overview
This 8x8 4K HDMI 2.0 HDBaseT CSC AV Matrix Switcher from Blustream offers versatile routing for up to eight incoming HDMI UHD 4K signals to four HDMI and eight HDBaseT outputs featuring CSC for support of 4K resolutions up to UHD 4K60 with 4:4:4 color space. This matrix switcher also de-embeds audio to eight digital optical ports and/or eight analog RCA stereo pairs. It boasts advanced audio features including independent Dolby and DTS audio downmixing over its HDMI and digital audio outputs, Audio Return Channel (ARC), optical (SPDIF) audio delay for lip sync correction, bidirectional IR and RS-232 pass-through, and a web GUI for control and configuration.
The unit can be controlled via front panel buttons, IR with the included remote, RS-232 via an optional controller, and TCP/IP over an RJ45 LAN port. The HDCP 2.2 compliant device boasts advanced EDID management and HDR support. It includes a mounting kit for 19" 2 RU rackmount integration, IR emitters and receivers, a remote control, and an IEC power cable.
