The Shinybow 4 x 8 UHD 4K HDMI Matrix Routing Switcher with IR Remote is a rack mountable, pushbutton HDMI matrix switcher suitable for users that need to distribute four discrete input streams to up to 8 different HDMI devices. Supporting video resolutions of 480i/p, 576i/p, 720p, 1080i/p, and 4K2K at 24/30p, this switcher allows you to direct each input to any of the 8 output ports, in addition to providing a preview output. The switcher also supports a variety of Dolby, DTS, and PCM audio embedded in the audio signal.

You can control the switcher locally, with the pushbutton interface, and see at a glance the input/output settings on the built-in menu screen. You can also control the switcher using RS-232 protocols and TCP/IP protocols via the integrated Ethernet connector (Windows only). The included IR extender/receiver set allows you to use the included IR remote to control the switcher from nearly a thousand feet away, which is ideal for use in a media center that is separated from the machine room. Embeded EDID modes as well as EDID learning allow the switcher to communicate with a vast number of monitors and output devices.

Video

The switcher supports a wide range of HD resolutions from PC XGA to WUXGA 1920x1200 and HDMI resolutions 480i/480p, 576i/576p, 720p, 1080i/p & 4K2K@24/30 Hz.

Built-In Booster

Using the built-in booster, each HDMI output port is capable of driving cable lengths for 1080p up to 98 and 4K2K up to 66 .

Emnbed Audio

Supporting Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital, and Dolby Digital Plug/ex, DTS, DTS-HD, DTS-HD Master, and DTS-EX, PCM, PCM2, and LPCM2, the switcher can handle a variety of embedded audio signals.

Remote Control

The switcher can be controlled via the included IR remote and RS-232 control as well as via the Ethernet port (TCP/IP ”no web browser support) a Windows GUI interface is provided for matrix routing via RS-232. You can extend the IR control using the included IR extender set up to 984 . These control options make it suitable for use in a machine room so it can be controlled via a remote operator at a reception desk, IT room, or video control center to route video throughout your facility.
