Convert video up to UHD 4K from a DisplayPort source to an SDI destination using this from Apantac. The converter features one DisplayPort 1.2 input, a 12G-SDI output, and an HDMI 2.0 loop output. There is also a slot for an optional SFP fiber module as an alternative to the 12G-SDI video output.
The HDCP-compliant converter can input resolutions up to 3840 x 2160p60 4:2:0, and it converts embedded audio along with the video. You can also de-embed up to eight channels of AES or AA audio for monitoring, mixing, or other audio options using the 3-pin terminal block or BNC outputs on the back of the unit. A manual selector allows you to select which audio pair you would like to de-embed. There is also a manual selector to switch between the BNC and optional SFP slot for up to 12G-SDI video signal output. Each output has its own LED to indicate the connection status.
You can upgrade the unit's firmware using the 3-pin terminal block input using RS-232 communication. A 12 VDC power adapter is included to power the unit using its locking barrel connector, and there is a locking 12 VDC barrel output to pass power through to another converter or piece of gear.
