AWS Elemental Link HD for MediaLive
EAN: 850690007151
Broadcast a high-resolution video source directly to AWS Elemental MediaLive in your AWS account with the Link HD from AWS Elemental. NOTE: Link requires an AWS account, usage of AWS Elemental MediaLive, and is subject to service charges for operation. Link HD allows you to input HDMI or 3G-SDI source video from a camera or switcher up to 1080p60. It then encodes and outputs the stream via the Gigabit Ethernet output with high-quality, low-bandwidth HEVC/H.265 compression using the Zixi IP protocol to your MediaLive account.
The portable box is compact and can fit anywhere, it s quick and easy to set up, and it automatically adapts to network issues and changes. When you are connected to MediaLive in your AWS account, the service is configured to live stream for broadcasting and internet streaming aimed at media set-top boxes, smartphones, smart TVs, and other media devices.
It supports a maximum bitrate of 50 Mb/s that can be managed within MediaLive, encodes video with AES-128 and rotating AWS Key Management service, and it streams on outbound IP ports 443, 2088, and 123. Its LED lights provide color and blink variations for power, online status, AWS link status, and streaming status. It features PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) support and you can also power it with the included power adapter.
Link requires an AWS account, usage of AWS Elemental MediaLive, and is subject to service charges for operation.
Fast and Easy Setup
AWS Elemental Link is easily configured for your AWS Account. Simply connect the device to power, an IP network, and an 3G-SDI or HDMI video source. Once connected, Link automatically starts sending thumbnail images and is available as a source for MediaLive in the AWS Management Console, ready for live streaming.
Manage and Monitor Devices Remotely
With AWS Elemental Link, you control the entire live event workflow using the AWS Management Console. Because you can manage and monitor multiple devices anywhere in the world from a central point of control, you don t need to send technical operators to event sites in order to set up and configure your live streams.
Small and Portable
Link is a small, portable device with minimal power and cooling requirements. Weighing less than 1 lb (450 g), Link can travel wherever you need to connect live video to the cloud. Link is silent, and fanless operation and minimal heat generation make the device practical to use in low-noise environments like studios.
High Video Quality
Link is designed to maximize the quality of video sent to the cloud and account for theunpredictable nature of network conditions. The device uses an advanced video compression system that continuously adjusts to available bandwidth in order to deliver the best possible video under all network conditions.
Cost Efficient
Link provides a broadcast-grade way to connect your on-premises live video source to MediaLive at a fraction of the cost of traditional approaches. Because setup is easy and management of devices is handled remotely, Link is efficient to own and operate.
