Small and compact, a take anywhere, use anywhere converter box, the VGA2HD01 VGA to HDMI and Audio Scaler Converter Box allows you to input a VGA signal and embed audio into the output HDMI signal, allowing you to view and hear the signal on an HDMI monitor. Supporting select VGA signals, including those common to 14 to 15 laptops, the scaler will output the VGA input as either a 1080p or 720p signal, scaling when necessary, which is selectable by a sliding switch on the side of the unit.
This scaler is easy to use, requires no menu navigation, and under normal circumstances does not require a power supply as it draws power from the HDMI device you connect it to. An included USB cable can be connected to your computer/laptop or other USB power source to provide power to the device on the of chance that it requires power.
