Key Digital IP1022DEC Overview

The KD-IP1022DEC-II 4K AV-over-IP Decoder with KVM/USB & Audio De-Embedding from Key Digital features PoE (power over Ethernet), low latency, scaling, support for up to DCI 4K30 video, and audio de-embedding. Designed for use with a verified network switch, this app-ready decoder can be mixed and matched with KD-IP822 and KD-IP922 encoders and decoders to create up to 16x16 video walls with a maximum total of 256 displays.

Interfaces include one GbE LAN input port, one HDMI output, one 6-pin block audio output, two USB-A ports for routing KVM devices, and three 3-pin block control ports.

Video Walls

• Encoder + Decoder systems create video walls with up to 16 x 16 with 256 total maximum displays
• Create decorative video walls using displays of varying sizes and positioning
• Use templates of popular layouts or easily create fully custom layouts with graphical assistance using KDMS Pro software instead of terminal coding

Control

• Three multi-function ports may be used as Compass Control Pro master controller
• Control using IP control systems via the KeyCode open API to extend control signals or as a third-party control interface

USB Routing

• Video, Audio, and USB switching are all independently routed for multi-layer systems
• USB 2.0 routing follows AV source/display selection with a maximum of four USB keyboard or mouse devices simultaneously routed to a single host computer/encoder
• 1.5 Mb/s maximum bandwidth
• Webcams are not supported

HDMI Pass-Through

Support for HDMI pass-through to connect a local monitor or HDMI audio systems

Audio

• Audio from the HDMI input is de-embedded through analog Phoenix terminal and digital optical ports to enable external audio connectivity with audio systems and amplifiers
• Audio preamp function provides volume, muting, 3-band EQ, and lip sync delay controllable on the audio de-embed port
