The Roland VC-100UHD 4K Video Scaler/Converter/Streamer is a powerful A/V signal management solution for live events, fixed installations, and livestreaming. Reference in and out ports allow you to incorporate the VC-100UHD into your existing facility`s infrastructure, or you can take it with you on location. This compact and flexible half-rack unit features Roland`s Ultra Scaler, allowing the VC-100UHD to simultaneously scale, convert, and stream your video to multiple destinations over SDI and HDMI as well as supporting USB livestreams. It supports 10-bit 4:4:4 video signals, that conform to REC. 601, 709, and 2020 color gamut. It also supports native DCI 4K signals as well as UHD and 1080p, and it can handle higher frame rate video in 1080p up to 240 fps over its HDMI input.
The scaler supports de-embedded audio from the video signal, providing separate audio processing, and it supports balanced audio input/output via a 25-pin connector or line in/out audio via RCA pairs. You can route up to 16 channels or input audio, and the unit supports 8-channels of audio output, with each audio input having its own delay adjustment. The unit has built-in video test patterns as well as audio test tones for calibrating your other equipment, and it can be rack mounted as well.

The USB 3.0 webcam output takes advantage of the latest USB audio/video protocols to provide you with plug-and-play operation for streaming. Roland`s free VR Capture software enables recording your HD livestreams in ProRes 422 (Mac) or MP4 (Windows) formats for postproduction editing and distribution.
