The economical NDI Bidirectional UHD 4K 12G-SDI/HDMI Encoder/Decoder Kit from SCIENCE IMAGE pairs two decoders with two SFP transceivers. This encoder/decoder system features both 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs and outputs, support for full NDI video up to 2160p60, and a range of up to 12 miles via optical fiber. SCIENCE IMAGE NDI Bidirectional UHD 4K 12G-SDI/HDMI Encoder/Decoder

This NDI Bidirectional UHD 4K 12G-SDI/HDMI Encoder/Decoder from SCIENCE IMAGE with both 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 inputs and outputs can encode or decode full NDI video up to 2160p60. Built-in optical transceivers send and receive signals up to 12 miles. A large, matte tally light on the side of the device makes it ideal for use in live production environment. The design of the device features a 1.3" OLED display screen, which shows the unit`s working status and parameters as well as input and output in real time.

The device has a USB-A port for integration of PTZ cameras into the system. PTZ cameras can then receive commands over NDI, even if the camera itself is not NDI compatible. A 3.5mm stereo audio line-level input and headphone output are integrated into the back of the device for audio monitoring. Power can be received by the device either through the RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet input or the DC connection with the included 12 VDC power supply.

SCIENCE IMAGE 12G-SDI Fiber SFP Module

The Science Image 12G-SDI Fiber SFP Module is an optical transceiver module compatible with all Studio 4K series and FLOW 4K series encoder/decoders. With this transceiver installed in two Science Image Studio or FLOW units the two converters can send and receive 12G-SDI signals over very long distances. It features a Simplex LC Singlemode connector and can carry a 12G-SDI or 4K HDMI signal up to 12 miles.
