The HD3G7 3Gbps SDI Video-Generator Module from Tektronix is a special option available for the TG700 Multi-Format Video Generator. It updates your unit with the ability to produce 3Gbps SDI signals.
The SDI test signal is produced according to the SMPTE 425M standards for `fast progressive` formats, including 1080p/50 and 59.94/60. The module supports both Level A and Level B coding for 1080p formats.
It includes a variety of standard test signals, including SMPTE color bars and SDI pathological test patterns. It also has the ability to up-convert an input from 1080i 1.485Gbps HD-SDI to 1080p output. The module also offers a clock/frame trigger output that can be used to synchronize the output with an oscilloscope or other similar device.
