Timecode Systems :pulse Overview
The :pulse from Timecode Systems is a multifunctional timecode and metadata hub and device control center designed for multicamera setups that allow you to view, monitor, and control any B:LINK-enabled device and compatible camera or audio device from a smartphone, tablet, or computer. It can be used to provide a zero-drift timecode and genlock sync for video and film applications.
The large-capacity LiPo internal battery is constantly charged from any of the power inputs and will run the unit for a minimum of 3 to 4 hours with RF, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet switched on. It is suitable for camera battery swaps or location moves.
Additionally, the :pulse has a solid aluminum casing and features a high-resolution blue OLED display. It offers flexible mounting methods and multiple powering options and can be configured as either an RF slave device or a master device.
The Mini Base Station
Add the mini base station to your multicamera setup and experience the full benefits of the B:LINK protocol. Monitor and control any B:LINK-enabled device or compatible camera and audio devices from your smartphone, tablet, or computer, all while providing accurate zero drift timecode and genlock for your production
User-Friendly Features
The :pulse also has a solid aluminum casing and features a high-resolution blue OLED display, flexible mounting methods, and multiple powering options. It has UART, RS-232/RS-422 connectivity, Ethernet/Wi-Fi/USB connectivity, and simultaneous long-range RF sync and B:LINK networking features
Zero Drift Between Units
Configured as an RF slave device, the :pulse's timecode and sync generator is soft-jammed twice a second via the long-range robust ISM band RF, meaning zero drift between units. The B:LINK network allows the :pulse to either operate as a B:LINK master device or a B:LINK slave device
