KanexPro NetworkAV HDMI over IP Extender Transmitter/Receiver Set
EAN:813982021174
Extend and distribute HDMI video signals over a local area network (LAN) with this KanexPro NetworkAV HDMI over IP Extender Transmitter/Receiver Set. Consisting of a transmitter, a receiver, and power supplies for the units, this kit can either extend an HDMI signal by itself or bolster an existing video-over-IP network. Ethernet allows video transmission over longer distances than normally allowed by conventional HDMI cables, up to 394` in this case. Since the video is transmitted over IP, standard networking equipment can be used to distribute video. The ability to distribute video from a single source to many displays through an Ethernet switch is great for digital signage and event-space coverage. Multimedia applications can serve video from a selection of sources to a single display using the simple front-panel interface.
Extends 1080p HDMI signals up to 394` over a single Ethernet cable
Uses MJPEG compression technology
Supports Point-to-Point, Point-to-Many, and Many-to-Many network configurations (requires VLAN setup)
Control via IR (Kit included)
Wideband IR control (38-56 kHz) to the source
HDCP compliant
Supports TCP/IP protocol
Metal enclosure built with mounting ears
5 VDC power supplies included
KanexPro NetworkAV 120M Receiver
EAN:813982021181
Designed to receive video over IP networks, the KanexPro NetworkAV 120M Receiver can accept SD and HD signals over Ethernet from up to 393` away. Useful in situations requiring many displays for large coverage areas, such as digital signage and convention setups, both video and audio can be routed to the receiver through the larger IP video infrastructure using the receiver`s IP address. IR signals can be passed through to the source, so remote control can be maintained. Using Ethernet to distribute video signals allows for HDCP protection to be maintained while removing the restrictive HDMI distance limitations. Additionally, video can be distributed over standard Ethernet switches, all without any compression, as the video is never converted or modified.
