Comprising of one transmitter and one receiver unit, this powered HDMI extender can connect to a wide variety of sources, such as a PlayStation, Xbox, Blu-ray player, satellite receiver, or digital recorder to provide 1080p resolution video and multichannel audio transmission over a separately available Cat 6 UTP, SSTP, or SFTP Ethernet cable. The transmitter s HDMI output port enables you to place a local display in a control closet to monitor the video being sent to the remote location.
