The MuxLab 500033 Quad Audio Balun allows transmission of up to 4 analog line audio signals in a point-to-point configuration using a Cat5E/6 UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable, eliminating up to 4 coax audio cables. It transmits analog audio up to 3250` (1km).
The balun is used in pairs or in conjunction with other MuxLab analog audio baluns such as the 500019. Providing hassle-free cabling solution, the audio balun connects to DVD players, audio receivers, audio amplifiers and audio mixers, audio matrix switchers, and other unbalanced line-level audio equipment.
Made of fire retardant plastic, the compact balun measures 2.40 x 2.25 x 1.00` (6.10 x 5.72 x 2.54 cm) and features a bandwidth of 20 Hz to 20 KHz for high fidelity.
Supporting unbalanced line-level analog audio, the 500033 Quad Audio Balun can be used in custom commercial and home audio systems, intercom systems, rental and staging systems, and audio-video conferencing systems.
