Transmit and receive HDMI video and audio signals over an extended 164 using an RJ45 connection with this HDMI Extender Kit from MuxLab. This transmitter and receiver kit enables you to transmit up to 1080p60 video from an HDMI source such as a Blu-ray device, cable box, or laptop to a remotely located display over Cat 5e or 6 cable.
The included IR emitter and sensor cables help to maintain two-way wireless IR remote control over your devices from a distance. The transmitter features an HDMI input and an HDMI loop output so you can monitor the signal near the source, and it features an RJ45 extension port that connects to the receiver. The receiver features a single HDMI output that supports embedded audio, and you can also extract the audio for output via a single S/PDIF output on the receiver.
The kit is HDCP compliant and supports EDID management. It also supports a variety of audio formats such as Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio pass-through. LEDs on the units indicate power and link status, and the units are powered using included power adapters. Both transmitter and receiver are compact in form and are made from durable metal material.
