Add a sturdy and mobile widescreen teleprompter system to your studio, live event, or virtual production gear arsenal with the P2P Interview System with Two 15" High-Bright Teleprompters and HDMI Cables from Ikan. The P2P system includes two PT4500W teleprompters with widescreen 3G-SDI monitors, which allow your interviewer and interviewee to look directly at one another through the camera lens. Each PT4500W boasts 1000 cd/m² of brightness and features a high-quality 70/30 beamsplitter glass to ensure a perfect balance of reflection and pass-through without distorting the image. Signal inputs include 3G-SDI, HDMI, and VGA. Both prompters connect to one another via included 25' HDMI cables.

This versatile teleprompter system boasts a 70/30 reflective glass that makes it possible for the presenter to easily see the reflected content, and a high-brightness screen that ensures clear visibility in any lighting condition. You can easily adjust the display orientation using the integrated image flip button. Multiple 3/8-16" and 1/4-20" threads provide tripod or pedestal mounting options, and the monitor features a wide viewing angle and integrated tally lights that let you know when your camera is live.

Extreme Clarity

The glass is coated, so that it reflects 70% of the light projected onto it while allowing the remaining 30% to pass through. This unique characteristic enables the presenter to read the reflected script text clearly, projected from a monitor below or behind the glass, while simultaneously allowing the camera positioned directly behind the glass to record through it without capturing the reflected text.

Six different camera mount bases allow for a large range of different-sized cameras to work. Counterweights can be split, so that the teleprompters can support a 5 lb counterweight or a 2.5 lb counterweight. The base can conveniently slide to adjust the weight without the need to remove the plate.

Quick Setup

The monitors can be quickly attached to the front of the teleprompters via the 15mm rod holder, which is compatible with any system that uses standard 15mm rods.

15" Widescreen Teleprompter Monitors

The native resolution is 1920 x 1080 with a max brightness of 1000 cd/m². The OSD adjustment menu allows adjustment for contrast, brightness, backlight, tint, chroma, and sharpness. You can also adjust the intensity of each RGB color channel. Aspect ratio can be set as 16:9, 4:3, full, or it can be set to automatically detect the aspect ratio and set it accordingly. When plugged into a compatible video switcher, the monitors utilize a red/green tally light that lets you know when your camera is live.

Image Flip Button

An image flip button allows for both horizontal and vertical flipping of the displayed image. This feature is ideal for presenters who are video conferencing since it enables the presenters to view themselves as if they were looking into a mirror, giving a greater sense of comfort during the video conference or live stream.

Built-In Tally Lights for On-Air Status

The monitors feature a tally light that illuminates red, green, and yellow. This means that a director can cut between cameras and the tally color will let the on-camera talent know which camera is live. Yellow tally lights are typically used as a way to signal to the talent, crew, and director that a camera is about to go live, and to be ready for the shot. A green tally light is typically used to indicate that a camera is in preview mode. This means that the camera's output is being sent to a monitor, but it is not currently on air. This allows the talent, director, and production crew to check the composition, focus, and other aspects of the shot before it goes live. A red tally light is used to indicate when a camera is live or on air.

Dual Tally Light

A toggle switch allows you to choose which of the two tally lights you would like to use. If you are using one of the monitors as a script monitor, you would want to use the tally light on the top of the monitor. If you are using the secondary monitor as a talent monitor, you would want to use the front-facing tally light.

Aluminum Chassis

The custom housings are made of aluminum, which provides robustness and longevity, protecting the monitor from the wear and tear of regular use. The monitors feature bezel-mounted buttons that let you control the menu settings and video inputs.

This iSeries case features an empty interior that fits the foam that is included with either the PT4500, PT4700, or PT4900. This allows you to pack your teleprompter in the same foam and in the same manner that they were originally shipped to you. This impact-resistant case is made from injection-molded polypropylene copolymer resin to be resistant to UV radiation, solvents, corrosion, and fungi according to MIL-STD-810F standards. It is IP67-rated and gasket-sealed to make it dustproof and temporarily submersible.

Molded-in hinges, patented trigger-release latches, and padlock holes with stainless-steel protector clips add to the security of the case. Three rubber overmolded cushion grip handles snap into vertical/horizontal position for convenient carrying options. An integrated pull handle slides out of the back of the case, and integrated wheels allow it to be pulled along the ground when the case is packed. A built-in automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C) allows for safe air travel. The case is made in the USA.
