Konova Tripod Stability Arm for Slider

We use these arms for real-estate videos, to speed up the shoot. We bought two. As others suggested, I recommend putting one on each end of the slider for maximum stability. Unfortunately, one side is always going to be more stable than the other, because you can only have one leg of the tripod directly under the slider holding the stability arm. The other stability arm is going to be offset. Quality of your tripod is also a factor. If the tripod has a tendency to flex under shifting weight, you may see it in the shot regardless of the stability arms. It works, but they could improve the quality. For one thing, the clamps have small rubber pads to prevent sliding over and scratching the legs of the tripod. They are just glues-on with a cheap adhesive and they all fell off after a few uses. Furthermore, the screw that locks the telescopic arm at length needs to be twisted pretty hard to do it's job and requires quite a bit of torque. We had to apply some grease, and now it's better. Also, the big red wheel that screws into the slider has a tendency to bite into it's metal track with it's screw when unscrewing. Overall: a usable device, but average build quality. For 90, I expected better.
