Acebil X-HEAD V3 2-Axis Remote Head (22 lb Payload)
The Acebil X-HEAD V3 2-Axis Remote Head supports cameras up to 22 pounds and features 360° of pan and tilt rotation. It includes an Aion 2-axis controller and is designed to mount on jibs and cranes, allowing the operator to move the camera remotely. The head features an L-type configuration with internal cabling, which prevents the cables from getting snagged. The included controller provides variable speed pan and tilt control, with a maximum rotation rate of 72° /sec, or 5 seconds for a complete revolution in any axis.
The camera plate features multiple slots, allowing you to adjust the position of your camera in/out as well as front to back. In addition, the camera plate rides on a rail and you can adjust the height of the camera mounting plate in relation to the tilt axis pivot. These adjustments allow you to both balance and center your camera on both the pan and tilt pivots points, for tight camera moves. The X-HEAD mounts on 75 and 100mm platforms.
For maximum efficiency and the least strain on your head, be sure to balance the camera properly.
