The Vinten VEGA Client provides single client/server connectivity with a modern interface for the VEGA Control System that incorporates recognizable features designed to assist and guide users. At the center of the main operating screen is a shot selection grid that is instantly familiar to broadcast robotics operators. Along with all other control elements, this window can be customized by users to be docked/undocked, resized, and positioned across single or multiple screens according to preference. User profiles store individual settings and admin-assigned privileges to streamline day-to-day operations.
Operators have the option to save preset shots and organize them within the grid with one-touch recall, fully synchronized for both single and multi-shot presets. Sharing preset shots over the network can be done by a group or by individual shot, with a coordinated handover process ensuring seamless control transition between operators. Device management empowers operators to remotely set movement limits and optimize motion quality through acceleration/deceleration profile configuration and speed capping.
The addition of a director's view virtual monitor to the interface provides a video stream, allowing operators to view the camera output and perform camera adjustments (optional VEGA CCU extension required). As production demands expand, a wide array of optional extensions can be seamlessly integrated into the VEGA Client UI, maintaining operator familiarity, and ensuring that the VEGA Client UI remains the sole control point even as facility requirements evolve. VEGA Client supports all current Vinten robotic devices.
