DJI RSC 2 Gimbal Stabilizer Accessory Kit

I'm enjoying the gimbal, still having issues with the focus motor. But I'm not going to return it because I like the gimbal.

We have two of these and run everything from Panasonic GH6 to Nikon Z8 on them and they work well. One thing to remember is that they work better when they are tuned to the camera weight. Don't just balance and go. Run the app on your phone and do the auto tune where it measures the mass and adjusts the motors accordingly. That will eliminate some of the oscillations that sometimes happen on heavier cameras.

Once you understand how it works it does a good job. Finding the app for setup is a pain as it is not offered in the app stores. I would also say look closely at the compatible cameras as many will fit and basic functionality may be there but some models the focus and zoom do not work even though on the hardware side they are identical to another supported model.

I like this model a lot. I have used it over 2 years now. I also used RS3 on a wedding shoot. The overall user experience is better on the rsc2 than on the rs3. First of all thanks to the rsc2 folding mechanism, it is smaller and easier to put in the camera bag. I have bags that I can put rsc2 folded in but not able to put rs3 in. rs3 no longer implement this design. To me it is a backward progression. Second the touch screen is annoying on rs3, you have to lock screen everytime you start shooting, otherwise it always accidentally touch the menu. it is that sensitive. We normally do not change gimbal setting during the shoot, there is no need for touch screen really. touch screen make sense only when we need to constantly change setting. But this is a gimbal we do not need to. Third the up and down arm somehow has less strength in rs3. I can not extend more as I can with rsc2. In practice I can not balance certain combo with rs3 but I can with rsc2. Last there seems no real stability improve from rsc2 to rs3. They both produce very stable result. They both weigh same. My advice is to buy the chepaer rsc2. and wait for rs4. It is better than rs3 in everyway I can think of from my long term use experience.

this gimbal is really good, I have had no issues. learn the movements and your good to go. Definitely worth the money.

Fantastic device. I wish I had this unit when I started learning steadicam 15 years ago. Makes all the difference in the world.

I really wanted to like this gimbal, but it can 9t support the RF 28-70 f2 or the EF 11-24 f4 lens on a R5 body. I 9ve tried everything possible and it simply can 9t balance. I was able to balance the EF 100mm f2.8 macro, but I really need a wide angle. There is also a moderate learning curve if you haven 9t used a gimbal and there is limited support from DJI. The YouTube community was of some help (some good videos), but none could get me balanced. So I 9m ordering the RS3 Pro which reportedly can support my gear. Anyone want a DJI RSC2?
