Tilta Power Pass-Through Plate with V-Mount Battery Plate

I posted an earlier 2-star review, this is an update. I exchanged that plate for a new one, which now properly accepts the DJI camera plate-- it was initially a little rough, but is now fine after repeat mounting has worn down rough edges. (The earlier one was too far off for this to work.) This seems to have happened to a number of other people, from my internet searching, but maybe they've improved the manufacturing tolerances. This plate allows me to remove the batteries from the back of my Red Komodo, which gives me more clearance to balance a longer or heavier lens (such as the Zeiss Milvus 35 f1.4 on Nikon adapter). The extra weight on the bottom of the camera also helps a little with balance. If you have the proper cables, you can also power an additional accessory like a Teradek transmitter or FIZ motor (if you're not using DJI's self-powered motor). I can now recommend this plate. But be prepared to rest and return if it doesn't fit.
