It maintains the functionality of a traditional nail-on plate, with four holes for nails or drywall screws, and it has a slim enough profile to be used with gaffer tape. Its 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 threaded holes accept many accessories, including baby pins and male-to-male adapter studs (available separately).
