Both stages can be connected to achieve the full 4 maximum extension. Tilt extensions allow much taller cameras to be secured in the Ronin 2 camera cage such as ARRI ALEXA, Panasonic VariCam XT, and many other ENG-type broadcast cameras.

Securing the camera from the upper dovetail is vital to achieving full Ronin 2 performance. You will be able to use higher stiffness numbers as a result, and it may also allow you to use the R2 camera baseplate and rod holder.
