Solve the upside monitor problem that vest/arm stabilizer operators face when going from regular to low mode with the SmartCAM Horizon from SmartSystem. The Horizon is a motorized stabilizer specifically designed to rotate your monitor as you adjust the roll of your sled, keeping your monitor upright at all times.
The SmartCAM supports a monitor ranging from 6.37 to 9.65 wide and up to 4.14 tall with 1/4 -20 threaded mounting holes on each side. The stabilizer takes a power feed from your gimbal or sled and has a 2-pin power pass-through port, so you can power the monitor through your monitor, minimizing the need for additional batteries and the extra weight and balancing time that comes with using additional batteries.
Adjustments
In addition to the eight included counterweights, the Horizon has locking levers that allow you to make vertical and horizontal adjustments to the counterweight bracket to help balance your monitor on the Horizon and the Horizon on your rig.
Modes
You can switch the operation of the Horizon with the push of a button from one that keeps the monitor level, no matter the orientation of the sled, to one where it is locked to the orientation of the sled.
Mounting
The Horizon features a 1/4 -20 universal mount that enables mounting on your sled via optional adapters.
