FLYCAM Flowline Master 2 Professional Support Vest for Cameras & Gimbals

The mechanism is pretty good but the vest is on the cheap side. The padding is cheap and the belt is terrible. It's a reasonable trade-off though, considering the price. They spent the money where it matters most-still, I would have paid 30 or 40 percent more for a better vest.

Cheaper than an easy rig, pretty much the same performance which poses some questions. The fact that this costs almost 1k makes you want to think. The quality of the hardware is not something that screams quality and much less 1000 dollars. It speaks to the fact how overpriced cine gear. I understand that the market is somewhat small compared to most others. (i.e a scrim jim frame costing 600€) but some designs decisions are questionable to say the least. We could argue that you can pay for the value you get out of it but I think that argument can be used to a certain point. There are parts of the rig that could be improved for virtually no money from the part of the company. It does the job but mod it with a Kong clip as an insurance policy. I would advise the company to add video tutorials as well for their other products because I spent the whole day adding the Placid attachment to the rig based on what I could grasp from google searches.

I am a bit disappointed in this purchase and this is why.1. I shoot with a JVC - GY HM 200 camcorder. I was under the impression that this device that I bought from would allow me to walk and shoot my videos at the same time while stabilizing my camera movement. It doesn't work. So it looks like I will have to do some more research and find something that will work for me. This may work with a 35 DSLR but not for what I have.

heavy duty, built well. 4 stars because im 6'3 and i feel like im too tall for it. probably work really well on someone with a smaller build.

Best thing I can say is it works, just could be better all around. s vest isn't that comfortable and didn't work well for a small waisted person, could not tighten enough.. barely does the job but for a few hundred extra, the easyrig minimax is much nicer overall. used for flying an URSA Broadcast(same size as mini) with an EF lens. returned it.

I bought this after using the Easyrig Minimax several times with a Ronin M. The Flowline is pretty much identical to the Easyrig and a lot less expensive. I added the Placid unit, as well, which helps a lot with eliminating the bouncing when you're moving. Adding the Placid was where the Flowline rig really outperformed the Minimax, as the total price was now just a fraction of the Easyrig with the same add-on. I only wish Flowline would give you some sort of instructions. There literally is NOTHING included - no documentation, no website, no instructional videos. It's not too hard to figure it out, but if you're adding the Placid unit, prepare to spend a good hour just trying to figure out how to attach it and make it work - and there are, once again, NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to install or use it. I would give it five stars, but they seriously need to send some instructions.

I used it twice so far and it is just perfect. It handled my camera rigged and all with no issues. Smoooooth shoot.

I mean, it's just NOT a real easyrig. Not close in craftsmanship and smoothness, and easy of use. BUT, it's 1/7 the price. And it does work. It really does. So who can complain about that. Really makes you wonder why the real Easyrig is SO expensive.
