Glide Gear DNA 6000 Stabilization System with Vest, Arm & Gimbal Adapter

I bought the Glidecam ADN 6000 tu use it with my Ronin S (usually with a canon 5D mk IV and a 24-70 iiL). First of all, I bought this to relieve the strain on my wrist and arm caused by holding this rig's load (quite heavy for long shots in a day) not so much for the 4-axis stabilizing function so I was really excited, but... Truth to be told: Now that I have it I find it sometimes harder the fact to carry another big bag around, another thing to set up (although, once you fit the vest it's pretty straight forward) considering that the Ronin S needs to be set up as well (balanced). The vest itself fits ok, it's comfortable to wear, the arm, well, even if I thighten the lock know that connects to the vest, I find it getting lose and the arm fly out if you pull it upwards (probably you won't do that, but I think a pin would have been better choice for locking the arm to the vest). the arm is heavy, plus the rig's weight, it makes it heavy on my back now, so I am not sure if this solves the arm/wrist issue. The springs squeak when I walk so I tried adjusting them (no luck last time so I may try some lub) and the included ball head feels struggling holding the load (so I don't use it anymore) Overall, I guess it's a cheap alternative to get into the steadycam-like stabilizers so I will just spend some more time training with it and maybe get used to its flaws.

This is a great tool, it works well with my canon c200 on a crane 2 gimbal! However the quick release plate and bag strap were not included, so that was quite a bummer to spend400 on something at not receive everything. Customer service is being a bit lax, due to whats going on in the world now.

It does help with weight and long shoots but the knobs are terrible for adjusting the tension. Want to return but.... probably wont. So I guess its not that bad

Works great for cameras under 10lb. I'm using it with HD4000. Definitely do the job. But you need to practice a lot before using.
