The Matrix R2 sled is designed to stabilize your camera footage when mounted on the DJI Ronin 2 gimbal. It features a telescoping carbon fiber center post, a micrometric head, a monitor LCD holder, a Gold mount battery plate, a Ronin 2 plate adapter, a Ronin 2 battery holder, a Ronin 2 yaw lock, an extended docking bracket, and a hard-shell carry case for the entire system.
The micrometric head allows you to mount the gimbal on the top or bottom of the sled to create a variety of shooting angles. The carbon fiber center post is height adjustable for working in a variety of production environments, and it features a docking bracket to dock the sled for balancing or for when it s not in use. The monitor mount allows you to install and adjust an onboard monitor to the system.
The Gold mount battery plate mounts on the bottom and it runs power up through the center column to the head, so you don t have to run a mess of external cabling, and the Ronin 2 battery plate also can mount onto the base of the sled using carbon fiber rods. The sled can be broken down and stored in the included hard-shell carry case.
