Steadicam AERO 30 Stabilizer System with A-30 Arm (No Battery Mount)

I won't lie but I couldn't help to feel a little bit disappointed by the build quality. I was very excited to receive something made by Tiffen as I have already several of their products and I am very happy with them. This one on the other hand is a meh... Everything except parts of the gimbal is plastic. I could find some surplus of glue coming out the edges of some parts too. For 5250, you are better placing that money into a Ronin or Movi or actually invest the 10k+ into a proper steadicam rig if you really want this Steadicam feel. Overall this product is completely OVERPRICED. You are buying because of that mail-in rebate? Be ready to wait a very long time for it. I am still waiting for mine and it's been over three months. I managed to talk to three different people there but no one seems to care. Great customer Service there (input sarcasm). I am also questioning the safety of the V-lock plate. I am unsure about this but I don't think this plate has a fuse in it (TBC). This caused the main board of my Atomos to fry, making it useless. Thankfully it was under warranty... If this is your first rig, it does the job fine for small shoots. If you are looking for something high quality to keep long term: stay away or invest into something else. The pros for me were a d-tap output and sdi-in on the top stage. The price compare to a Zephyr definitely makes it worth it even though it is ridiculously marked-up for the built quality you actually get.
