ARRI Lightweight Expansion Set for ALEXA Mini... Overview

The from ARRI provides both top and bottom camera support components that offer new standards of forward-looking ergonomics. This set comprises a MAP-4 Mini Adapter Plate, LCH-1 Lightweight Camera Handle, BHA-1 Balance Harness Adapter, LWS-6 Lightweight Support, CSP-2 Compact Shoulder Pad, RMB-3 Rod Mounting Bracket, and Viewfinder Cross Pipe. Weighing less than half of existing ALEXA Mini LF top plates, the MAP-4 enables the LCH-1 handle that was originally developed for the ALEXA 35 to be used with the ALEXA Mini LF.

ARRI MAP-4 Mini Adapter Plate for ALEXA Mini LF

The ARRI MAP-4 Mini Adapter Plate attaches to the top of your ALEXA Mini LF and provides additional mounting points. The plate features captive mounting screws and multiple mounting threads to expand your setup. Its lightweight construction ensures it does not add additional bulk to your cine rig and is compatible with the ALEXA 35 accessory range.

ARRI Lightweight Camera Handle LCH-1

Easily and safely carry your ALEXA 35 cinema camera with the ARRI Lightweight Camera Handle LCH-1. The lightweight carbon fiber handle mounts onto the top of the camera using the Universal Adapter Plate UAP-3, and it requires no installation tools. The handle slides back and forth through the post to provide balance adjustment.

ARRI Balance Harness Adapter BHA-1

The ARRI Balance Harness Adapter BHA-1 mounts onto the Lightweight Camera Handle LCH-1 for the ALEXA 35 cinema camera and provides quick camera balancing when using a suspension harness. It slides back and forth over the handle, allowing for easy balancing, and it secures using a thumbscrew. There is also one 3/8" -16 thread available on the adapter for mounting an accessory.

ARRI Lightweight Support LWS-6

The ARRI Lightweight Support LWS-6 enables you to add two optically centered standard 15mm LWS rods and accessories to your camera rig. It can be used with the LCH-1 lightweight camera handle and/or the UAP-3 universal adapter plate to mount a variety of accessories such as a focus motor, matte box, or the MVB-1 viewfinder bracket.

ARRI Bridge Plate Adapter BPA-6

Use this ARRI Bridge Plate Adapter BPA-6 as a support for your small and lightweight cinema camera, such as the ALEXA 35, to support an ARRI studio bridge plate or dovetail interface on the BUD-1. This compact plate features an optically centered 15mm LWS rod block and a small shoulder pad, which allow you to quickly balance, mount, and unmount the camera for different rig setups. It also features a " Touch and Go 35" snap-plate compatible with ARRI bridge plates such as the BP-8 and BP-9.

ARRI Compact Shoulder Pad CSP-2

The ARRI Compact Shoulder Pad CSP-2 mounts onto your bridge plate or baseplate to provide a comfortable rest for your ALEXA 35 cinema camera. The increase in comfort gained when using a shoulder pad can translate into extended shooting time. This pad is designed with four " legs" that allow the camera rig to rest on a flat surface without the pad itself touching down, diminishing wear and tear on the pad.

ARRI Rod Mounting Bracket (RMB-3)

Use the Rod Mounting Bracket (RMB-3) from ARRI to support a single, standard 19mm rod for mounting a lens motor, lightweight EVF bracket, etc. to your camera or cage rig. When used with a separately available insert, the RMB-3 can be used to support a 15mm rod. A mounted rod is easily secured using the thumb lever on this screw-in bracket.
