Bright Tangerine LeftField 3 Expert Kit for Sony FX6

Support your Sony FX6 cinema camera on your shoulder or tripod rig and add accessories with this LeftField 3 Expert Kit from Bright Tangerine. This Expert kit is made up of the LeftField 3 baseplate core, a lower ARRI-style dovetail plate, a top plate mark II, a Sony FX6 riser for LeftField baseplates, a monitor holder, a 15mm rod mount, a filler plate, a handle brace, a folding NATO rail, and a pair of 12" Drumstix 15mm rods. All the components are made from durable aluminum.

The LeftField 3 baseplate features the Bright Tangerine Open¢ Up quick release system, and it offers 15mm LWS rod ports for an optional rod system. The lower, low-profile dovetail plate features a standard ARRI dovetail. The top plate mounts around the top handle, and a filler plate and handle brace are included if you want to replace the original handle. Mount a monitor or EVF using the folding NATO rail, rod mount, and clamp. The included riser allows you to mount the camera onto the rig to ensure your FX6 camera is at the proper 15mm LWS height. Two 12" 15mm rods are included for use with the baseplate.

Bright Tangerine Top Plate II for Sony FX6

Expand the accessory mounting capabilities of your camera without stressing its body with the Bright Tangerine Top Plate II for Sony FX6. Simply attach this extremely versatile plate to the top of your FX6 camera to add two NATO rails with spring-loaded safety catches, multiple 3/8" -16 and 1/4" -20 threaded holes, with steel Heli-Coil inserts to prevent stripping, QD, and even two M5 threads on the front for attaching lens adapter supports to your camera. A relocating point allows you to attach clips for cable management.

Heli-Coil, NATO, and QD

With threaded mounting holes, NATO, and QD points, you can easily change your rig configuration to match your needs. The stainless-steel Heli-Coiled 1/4" -20 and 3/8" -16 fittings provide added strength and prevent threads from stripping or binding. Quick Detach (QD) sockets provide a rapid way to connect and disconnect straps and anchors for extra peace of mind in fast-paced situations.

Lens Adapter Support

When using the Sony FX6 with large PL mount lenses, adapter supports can be secured using the two M5 mounting points at the front of the top plate. The solid connection ensures that your lens adapter stays firmly in place, eliminating any chance of flex or play.

Compatibility

The Top Plate can also be used with the Bright Tangerine Top Plate Filler Piece (B4004.1006) to add a third NATO rail in the middle, providing a central mounting point. This is useful for gimbal builds and other setups where the FX6 handle is not required.

The durable aluminum and stainless steel filler piece is interchangeable with the original FX6 top handle, and it can also be combined with the Bright Tangerine Top Plate for FX6. You can mount accessories using its four 3/8" -16 anti-twist threads, three 1/4" -20 anti-twist threads, and two Sony 8T threads, and it features an integrated NATO rail along its length. Its threads are heli-coiled with stainless steel to prevent stripping.
