This is an Arca-type dovetail baseplate that features integrated 15mm LWS rod clamps. The 0.51" platform height refers to the distance from the center of the 15mm rods to the bottom of the Arca-type dovetail. It also features a top-loading Arca-type dovetail slot, which enables mounting either from the top or back. Likewise, the bottom of the platform can mount on standard ARRI dovetail rails via a top-loading mechanism or by sliding it on or off from the back.
