MID49 M49-KTM-SON-BM15 Overview

This MID49 Mid Cage Kit for Sony BURANO with Microphone Shockmount provides you with a variety of accessories for the Sony BURANO (not included) that improve on set functionality. In addition to the microphone shockmount that hangs off the side of the cage, the kit includes a Top Plate, an Arca-type Top Handle, a single accessory rod bracket, a baseplate with 15m LWS rod clamps, an audio breakout cable, a pair of 15mm stainless steel rods, a single 7" aluminum rod, and Mid49's BURANO EVF Pivot Adapter. The single rod bracket attaches to the Top Handle or Top Plate to provide 15mm LW rod support for Sony's EVF system. Also included are two NATO side arms, and the top mount accepts the included Top Handle, which is a sliding camera handle that has 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16 threaded holes with ARRI locating pins, M4 x 20mm threaded holes, and two cold shoe mounts.

MID49 Microphone Shockmount (Sideways 15mm Rod)

Made in collaboration with Radius Windshields, the MID49 Microphone Shockmount (Sideways 15mm Rod) combines cinema-grade isolation with the durability required for outdoor broadcasting. The suspension provides exceptional isolation from movement and handling noises, and other vibrations.

Designed to mount on a top 15mm rod like those on Sony Burano and similar cameras, this shockmount is ideal for short shotguns and pencil mics up to 250mm in length, and with a diameter of 19-25mm. For added convenience, MID49 offers an optional 7" rod (available separately), enabling comfortable use of both the viewfinder and the Microphone Shockmount together.

MID49 Top Plate for Sony BURANO

Mount this Top Plate for Sony BURANO from MID49 on your Sony BURANO camera to provide multiple accessory mounting points. Compatible with the original top handle that came with your Sony BURANO, the Top Plate also allows you to mount the Sony FX9 control handle (requires optional Top Plate Handle Adapter-BURANO to FX9). The top plate features numerous 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded accessory mounting holes on the top and side, surrounded by ARRI-standard Accessory Mount compatible anti-twist divots, as well as multiple M4 threaded mounting holes, enabling you to securely mount accessories and support arms without stressing your camera's body. An integrated ARCA-compatible quick release mechanism allows you to quickly mount your camera on a variety of platforms with optional ARCA adapter plates.

MID49 Arca Top Handle

This Arca Top Handle from MID49 is a lightweight sliding camera handle that mounts on MID49 Arca Top Mounts for RED KOMODO, KOMODO-X, and V-RAPTOR, as well as the Sony BURANO Top Plates, and Upper Cages. Featuring numerous 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting holes that are surrounded by ARRI-compatible anti-twist divots so that accessory arms and accessories don't slip or twist. Multiple M4x20mm threaded holes allow for attaching option rod brackets and other M4 accessories. It has a cold shoe mount on both the front and rear for on-camera lights, microphones, and other shoe accessories.

MID49 Single 15mm Rod Clamp

This Single 15mm Rod Clamp from MID49 attaches to your cage, rig, or other mounting platform via two captive M4 screws that are spaced 20mm apart from center to center. The small size of the clamp and its spring-loaded locking lever make this clamp a great choice when working in compact configurations. M4 x 20mm holes with compatible spacing can be found on MID49 cheese plates, handles, audio breakouts, EXT breakouts, and rod clamps, as well as ARRI peripherals and many other third-party accessories.

MID49 EVF Pivot Adapter for Sony BURANO

This EVF Pivot Adapter for Sony BURANO from MID49 allows you to grab and twist the BURANO LCD panel that comes with your BURANO camera to switch from monitor configuration to viewfinder. Attach this adapter via the ARRI Standard Accessory Mount anti-twist system for a solid connection to the monitor and the BURANO's viewfinder mount system. Then simply twist the monitor to move it from the viewfinder position to LCD side view. The adapter's shaft features interlocking surfaces that enable it to hold its position without needing locking knobs or set screws for quick adjustments without tools.

MID49 Cage NATO Side Arm (ARRI 3/8"-16)

This orientable Cage NATO Side Arm from MID49 features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes surrounded by ARRI-compatible anti-twist divots along the length of the rail. The arm mounts on a cage or other camera platform that has a 3/8"-16 threaded hole with ARRI-compatible divots. With an internal rosette, you can change the NATO rail's orientation and have it hold fast. The rail has spring-loaded safety catches at either end to keep your NATO accessory from falling if its clamp should loosen or fail.

MID49 15mm Aluminum Rod (7")

Use this 7" long 15mm Aluminum Rod instead of the original EVF rod that came with your Sony BURANO. Light in weight, the extra length of the rod compared to the BURANO's original rod allows more space for mounting right-side accessories on your camera without interfering with the EVF.
