Movcam Standard Kit for Sony FX9 (Gold Mount)
The Movcam Standard Kit for Sony FX9 features a VCT-14 adaptor plate for use with Sony VCT-14 mounting plates. When the small VCT-14 adapter plate and toe plate are removed, the Movcam FX9 Base Plate can slide onto the Movcam Universal Dovetail Plate or other industry standard dovetail plates. The Movcam FX9 Base Plate is compatible with 15mm rods and is compatible with ARRI 19mm BP-8 mounting options. The left side of the Movcam FX9 Base Plate includes a removable rosette block for adding a handgrip. The front of the Movcam FX9 Base Plate includes a lens mount support for 1/4 -20 threaded adaptors.
Movcam s integrated design for the FX9 Base Plate includes a shoulder pad that offers no play when attached to the camera and is made of rubber that is both durable and comfortable. Top plate and side bracket provide plenty of 1/4 -20 threaded mounting points as well as ARRI compatible 3/8 key pin mounting points for attaching other third party accessories. The top plate offers upper 15mm rod mounting options for mounting an EVF, monitor or other accessories. The rosette adaptor on the side bracket offers tripod users a choice for mounting the stock Sony handle closer to the rear of the rig. The Movcam FX9 Distribution Box provides power to the camera via A/B 3 stub mount battery or the standard 4 pin XLR DC Port. There are 6 12V power out ports: 4x D-tap and 2x Lemo 2-pin connectors.
