Neewer CA040 Overview

Prevent shake and sway in your images using the ring-shaped CA040 Camera/Smartphone Stabilizer Rig from Neewer enables you to comfortably handhold your camera in various positions. This lightweight aluminum stabilizing rig can be used with most DSLR, mirrorless, or action cameras, as well as smartphones, and it can also simultaneously mount multiple cameras. The foam handgrips are removable, so the rig can be used in single- or dual-grip configurations, and it can be set up for portrait or landscape orientation.

The rig features top and bottom mounting plates for mounting cameras and accessories. The quick release system features an Arca-type plate to easily mount and unmount your camera using the various slots, and it can slide from side to side for balancing on the bottom. The top also features a shoe mount and 1/4" -20 threads for additional phone mounts, extension arms, monitors, lights, or microphones.

The structure enables versatile camera phone shooting for vlogging, sports, and filmmaking, giving you flexibility in installation, shooting angles, and handheld modes.

Upgraded Arca-Type Quick Release System

The four side Arca-type slots for seamless landscape to portrait mode transitions and quick camera lens orientation adjustments no need to detach your camera setup. Achieve precision camera adjustments in four directions: front to back with the 1/4" -20 screw through the quick release plate s 1/4" -20 thread countersink left to right sliding by releasing the side locking knob on the quick release clamp base.

Dual-Handle or Single-Side Handle Grip

The foam-padded dual handgrips evenly distribute the weight of your camera rig, reducing the strain on your arms and shoulders during extended handheld shooting sessions. Alternatively, you can detach the left handle for single-handed use, allowing the capture of action sports from any angle, especially low angles.

Diverse Mounting Options

There are four 1/4" -20 threads with locating holes and cold shoes on the top for enhanced compatibility with LED video lights, RGB lights, microphones, and field monitors. Optional shoe mount adapters, extension arms, and other accessories can be attached to further build your camera rig. You can also mount a smartphone or action camera using a separately available holder adapter for multicamera shooting.

Compatibility

The rig is compatible with cameras such as the Sony a7C, a7 III, a7R IV, a9 II, and a6600, the Canon EOS R6, R5C, R5, R3, and 90D, the Nikon Z9, Z7, Z7 II, Z6, and Z6 II, the Fujifilm X T4, Blackmagic s 4K or 6K, and other DSLR or mirrorless cameras. The cage can be directly mounted on any tripod head via the 1/4" -20 bottom thread or Arca-type slot for quick transitions between handheld and tripod shooting.

Please note that this rig is not suitable for lenses with tripod collar mount rings please remove them before use.
