This aluminum cage incorporates one cold shoe mount, several ARRI-style 3/8 -16 threads with anti-twist divots, a NATO rail machined into the side, and an ARRI-compatible rosette for attaching available accessories such as handgrips. Numerous 1/4 -20 threaded holes are machined into the half cage for attaching additional accessories. A single 15mm rod port set into the top of the half cage is an excellent attachment point for an optional 15mm rod and Niceyrig follow focus unit. The right side remains open, maintaining access to all camera functions.
