The half cage protects your camera while leaving its controls and battery compartment easily accessible and viewable.

Accessory mounting options include two top-mounted cold shoe mounts, multiple 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 threads, and NATO rails on the top and left sides. The threaded holes on the bottom can be used for attaching an optional tripod quick release plate. This half cage base includes a Manfrotto-style quick release plate, as well as anti-twist locating pins and protective rubber pads. An Allen key is included with the cage.
