There are three 3/8 -16 and two 1/4 -20 accessory mounting threads on each plate, and they are lined with stainless steel for extra durability. Each titanium rod is machined and ground flat to within a tolerance of 2 microns, which prevents accessories from binding when sliding on the rod.
