Mount your Sony PXW-FS5 or PXW-FS5M2 camera on a tripod or shoulder rig using this Baseplate with 15mm Rods from SHAPE. The baseplate kit includes a baseplate for the Sony PXW-FS5 or PXW-FS5M2 and two 15mm rods that measure 10 in length.
The durable baseplate features 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 threads on the bottom for mounting on a tripod or rig, and the plate features 1/4 -20 and 3/8 -16 captive camera mounting screws for securing your camera to the baseplate. Rubber pads on the top of the camera plate prevent your camera from scratches, as well as preventing twisting.
Multiple 1/4 -20 threads on the side of the baseplate allow you to mount additional accessories, and two threads on the front can be used to install a separately available lens support bracket. The baseplate also features a 15mm rod block to mount your camera onto a 15mm LWS rod system. The two 10 15mm rods are secured in the block with locking levers.
