SHAPE Shoulder Rig with Baseplate, Matte Box, Follow Focus & Dual Handgrips

Shoulder mount your professional camera and add a variety of accessories with this Shoulder Rig with Baseplate, Matte Box, Follow Focus & Dual Handgrips from SHAPE. The rig includes the REVOLT VCT universal baseplate, two sets of 15mm rods, and a set of two telescoping rubber handgrips.

The baseplate features a comfortable gel shoulder pad, two sets of 15mm rod ports on the front and back, and a sliding camera plate with 1/4" -20 and 3/8" -16 mounting threads for mounting onto a tripod or other gear. The included sets of 4 and 8" 15mm rods secure into the rod ports using locking levers. There are two rosettes on either side of the baseplate where the handgrips attach. The rosettes allow the handgrips to rotate 360° and are covered with soft rubber for a secure, comfortable grip. They also feature telescoping arms to adjust the length of the handgrips for the most comfortable fit.

The two-stage matte box fits 4 x 5.6" filters, features two rotating filter holders, and it mounts onto the 15mm rods. It fits onto lenses that have up to a 114mm diameter, and an 82mm filter ring is included along with six step-up rings for a variety of size lenses: 52-82, 58-82, 62-82, 67-82, 72-82, and 77-82mm. The follow focus quickly mounts onto one of the front 15mm rods and includes two 0.8 MOD gears with different sets of 28 or 43 teeth to fit a wide range of lens types. An accessory port allows you to use separately available accessories such as a whip or crank.

A hardware toolbox with screws and Allen wrenches is included.

SHAPE REVOLT VCT Universal Baseplate

Featuring a sliding camera plate, SHAPE s REVOLT VCT Universal Baseplate can accommodate rigs of varying sizes. Simply attach your camera via 1/4" -20 or 3/8" -16 screws to the top plate, and slide it onto the shoulder plate. Fore and aft movement allows you to balance the weight of your setup properly. Further adjustments can be made by moving the shoulder pad. The 15mm rod clamps at the front and rear of the baseplate allow you to secure 15mm accessories such as a matte box, follow focus, lens motors, lens supports, battery plates, or external recorders. Since the front rod clamp is attached to the top plate, the rod-mounted accessories don t need to be repositioned as the rig is adjusted. Additionally, handles can be mounted to the ARRI standard rosettes on either side of the plate. When not shoulder-mounted, the baseplate can be secured to a standard VCT-14 ENG quick release in a matter of seconds, saving time on set.

The sliding baseplate provides a quick positioning of your camera and accessories for an optimal adjustment of your camera s balance center.

Height-adjustable rod clamp for aligning the 15mm rods at the proper LWS height in relation to the optical axis.

Front and rear rod clamps allow you to extend your rig forwards and backwards.

Built-in storage areas for extra screws and the Allen wrench ensure that necessary adjustment tools are always close at hand.

Safety pins and spring-loaded levers prevent the top plate from sliding unintentionally.

SHAPE Telescopic Handles with ARRI Rosettes (Black)

The black Telescopic Handles with ARRI Rosettes from SHAPE are left and right handgrips that can be attached to cameras and camera support hardware that has standard ARRI rosettes. Each arm features three points of articulation, combined with the approximately two inches of arm extension allows you to adjust the arms for your comfort. The arms attach to your camera or support via an ARRI compatible rosette with spring-loaded locking levers, which allow you to lock your arms in place without having a full 360° of rotation.

Shape s unique push-button articulating joint provides additional articulation near the rosette, while a second push-button articulation joint allows you to rotate and precisely position the rubber handgrips. A second spring-loaded locking lever along the arms allows you to extend the arms up to two inches and rotate the handgrips throughout 360° . The arms are indexed for extension and rotation, so you can quickly move between known setups.

The push-button locking joint enables independent rotation throughout 360° .

Spring-loaded locking levers allow you to tighten or loosen the lever even when you do not have space to turn the lever throughout the entire 360° range.

The arms feature two inches of extension and are indexed every 5mm of extension.

The arms can rotate through 360° and feature 30° of index markings.

The SHAPE Follow Focus Pro mounts on 15mm rods and features an adjustable arm which puts the gear at the optimal position for the lens, no matter what the diameter is. The unit snaps onto 15mm rods, allowing for quick attachment, removal, and re-positioning. Two 0.8 pitch gears come included and give you a choice of either 28 teeth or 43 teeth - depending on the throw distance of the lens. Additional features include two adjustable hard stops, removable marking disc, and an industry standard accessory port for using optional whips and cranks.

The SHAPE 2-Stage 4 x 5.6" Clip-On and 15mm LWS Rod-Mounted Matte Box provides filmmakers flare and glare protection when creating their images, whether in a minimal configuration or on a large studio shoot. The matte box can be used either as a clip-on matte box when not using rods or with 15mm LWS rod supports, providing you the flexibility to use the same matte box in either shooting situation. The matte box comes with 114 and 84mm clip-on adapter rings.

The matte box features two rotating 4 x 5.6" filter stages, ideal for use with polarizers, grad, and effect filters. The two included 4 x 5.65" filter holders feature a spring-latch system to hold your filters securely, and each filter stage has a locking knob that enables you to precisely set the height of your filter in the stage. The matte box accepts lenses with a front diameter up to 114mm, and it includes an 82mm filter ring.
